Late At Night! Poem by Robert Kallend

Late At Night!

Rating: 2.5

The time no friend nor neither foe,
For this long but yet apparent woe,
It lights itself upon scorned belief,
With no satisfaction nor beloved relief,
The knowing of which I do behold,

Renders me speechless and thoughtful.
Such feelings I should not allow for,
End up forceful and impending against nights weary eyes.
I lie next to you, thinking about our love,
Whether it be real? or masked under hidden disguise.

These thoughts so powerful, extremely misleading and that to hope I beg for the truth.
Upon bended knee for you I'd wait, As long as lies, cascade not, from beneath sunken lips.
As I believe this will be our last chance, As night quickly dawns to a new day.
