Late At Night Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Late At Night

Late at night

Late at night
Sit and watch
The movies
Seeking guide
For shutter, OTS
And the lights
To pan, tilt
And bird-eye…

The movie
To me is
Not as was
Meant to be,
Amusement,
Rejection
With senses
And tears…

Late at night
I sit watch
To learn or
Criticise…

Late at night
Watch movie
Set in the Prairie…

For them I
Raise voice,
Shout:
"Do not want
Me to be
Indian, savage Cree! "

Feel in hand
Hold a gun
And aim at
White priest,
Then on horse
And on run
End up in Montana!
