Late Spring (Seven Jue) Poem by Luo Zhihai

Late Spring (Seven Jue)

★ Late Spring (Seven Jue)

☆ Poetry by Yuan Zhen (779-831, Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Sparse curtains, chatter of swallows and quiet day
On the sidesteps two men gamed fowl and dust swirled in the air
At dusk the wind shut the wood gate
All the leisure flowers fell but no people there

昼静帘疏燕语频
