Laugh In The Face Of Death Poem by Brandi Knecht

Laugh In The Face Of Death

i am sitting here with a razor blade in my hand,
thinking of how fast i could just end it all,
i think of all the times i've had,
the bad outweigh the good,
i slowly begin to cut a long vertical line up my arm,
i laugh as the blood begins to flow,
i lagh as my blood goes down the drain,
my life begins to flash before my eyes,
i see all the misery that led to my demise,
i laugh one last time,
i laugh in the face of death.

Graphic stuff, Brandi. This is one of those topics where writing beats reality. In other words, it is better to 'bleed' with pen and paper... keep writing! Brian
