None there be
that vexes you to a trial
to exert your powers to the utmost
that your victory be more triumphal and complete

That by practice the Truth ye know
to be at one with Truth
invincible, as Truth is
not to be confounded nor overthrown

Advance ye by a succession of strivings
obey this law of Love that leads you to power
to accomplish wonderful feats of endurance
of wisdom, and transcendent greatness

Surely look ye not without but within
for the Light to dispel all darkness
and blessedness to blossom forth
in the heart’s tranquil lake.
