Lazy Love Poem by Minerva Agriam

Lazy Love

Come let us love,
While the earth has not yet
Given it's borrowed life.
While the grass is still green;
Let us make the best of everything!

Yet, everything has chosen to sleep
Like lazy meadow. Busy gushing
Stream gives life to all living beings.
Yet, you chose to sleep like dead!

Lazy love, heart o' feint. Acting only on
Ones' own feelings. Bringing attention
Only to oneself. Ungrateful for the
Free gifts abudantly spread daily as
The sun wakes up up with bright array.

Lazy love, proud spirit of a little
Cold blooded being. Accumulating things
To himself like a hungry goat. Lust for all,
Both in flesh and the shining lifeless things!
He loves himself and his things! Lazy love!

Love is delicious, something precious
And always nutrious! Because of you
I want to live and love!
Live for you and live to love you!
