Lead On Poem by Paul Warren

Lead On

Stranger days I had
And at times it's a drag
For the world just spins around
Sometimes your feet don't hit the ground

No one knows it all
It's just what you can recall
Is it the start middle or end
Or do you just pretend

What is your public face
The one that can't b erased
Does it hold you up to the sun
Or drag you down until you're done

For in the end there is you
So to yourself be true
Lead on into the light
You are up to the fight.
