A-long the long hard road,
N-ightfall blinds your eyes;
N-othing is quite clear,
A-s dark covers the skies.

L-eading you to the right path
I-s the Lord God Almighty;
S-howing you the doorway
A-nd the gate to eternity.

R-each the Lord's loving hand,
O-pen your heart to His love;
M-idst chill and shadows
A-n arm comes from above.
N-either shoulder shrugs off the call of the great voice;
O-pen your ears to listen and make a correct choice.

P-repare your feet to stay
O-n track tasked by the Maker;
R-emain in the true fold,
T-wenty-sixth day October.
U-nless you obey His words,
G-od shall bring you His wrath;
A-llow your soul to seek Him
L-eading you to the right path.
