Learning Poem by Amanda Lukas

Learning

Rating: 5.0

If only I knew
what I wanted to give to myself,
maybe I could give to you
what you need from me.
I am but a child
in a world full
of wonder.
I am incapeable
of making decissions.
I am not attempting
to be taught.
I am attempting to learn
for myself.
I bow to you for your
intelligence and thoughtfulness,
but I do not beg of you to teach me
anything I cannot learn
on my own.

I expect that I am not fully understanding this poem, yet I find it very daring and deep. I feel it is very psychological... Let me know Amanda if I'm totally off track! Another good one regardless. Well done Amanda!
