Left Alone To Self Destruct Poem by Rob Francis Parsons

Left Alone To Self Destruct

Goodby
I left you to die
I was to young
I did not know what to to
I saw your pain
I felt your despair
I still feel your hundred mile stare
I kept finding you
Your unconscious
Im moving further away
You are far away
Where is the love
Moving far away
I knew you was lost
Not wanting to be found
I'll never see you again
I'll find your consciousness
I'll feel your love again
Holding on to your heart
I can never hold on to your hand
Now shadows wispers are calling me
Wispers moving with no breeze
Like me, the air is still
I've worked up such a great bill
It's hard when you have no will
You taught me that
I'll carry it with me always
There is no way of settling
I carry you with me always
Forever joined with your heart
I will never say goodby again
I'll learn to live with this pain
Again and again
This trail of tears
I destroy myself each night
I save myself each day
I feel my own pain
I feel my own despair
I'll show someone my hundred mile stare
