Leftover Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Leftover

Rating: 5.0

What will it be like without you?
Some days, I want to know
Others, I can't stand the thought
Just the same as eveything dies
I'll just be left alone
A leftover
Because I couldn't control
My temper

In succinct fashion, you've managed to brilliantly convey the tragedy of losing a friend...and the brutal loneliness that follows. And you end it with such deep honesty. An absolutely stunning poem, LeeAnn!

That expressed the torture of regret better than I've read it done in a long time. Totally agree with Richard below.5 starred this of course
