Time passed
Life went on
Memories forgotten
And new lives were found

But in no time
I saw your sight again
I might real not
Know what is in your mind
But I can easily
Read the motive through your heart

But then why now?
Why do you come back now?
Knowing exactly that
I might not need you at all
Why are you wasting your time on me?

I always thought
That the other is going to love you
That my successor
Is going to do better than I

Why now?
When you know for a fact that
You left me in too much hurt
When you know precisely
That you left me on my knees
With tears the songs I only sang

Tell you what
Cry your way to your future
Lay your faith in what it has for you
And let me chrish the happiness I have now
In that I shall lay my love on it
