You're an awkward teddy bear
Yet, you hold me until I forget what's wrong.
One side is stuffed more than the other,
You wear a sweatshirt year round,
We both know that I don't deserve you.
Yet if I ever lost you it would be the death of me.
Some parts of you are rough, other parts are soft.
You're always there.
No matter how much I talk or go into too much detail.
You never leave, you don't say a word period.
Yet you're the best therapist,
No matter how much anxiety I think I give you.
My plans always include you, no matter how little I tell you.
You're always on my mind, please understand.
The first thing I look for when I walk into my room.
My awkward teddy bear, one eye bigger than the other,
The best gift I think I ever received.
No matter the words in this text, you're mine.
& there's not a person that can do or say anything
About you.
I let you in & for the life of me,
Don't know why or how you let me in
