Let Me Watch You Forever Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Let Me Watch You Forever

let me watch your forever
like the tea-bag that drips from the table
the floor is flooded with playful circumstances
you’ll never know the scripts inside my head
but it’s alright, let’s have some drama
probably a touch of comedy and friendship too
you’re my precious, little treasure
a dent appointed itself to speak of your wonders
but you are more than just a shape;
your very absence in a world devoid of candor
is the only truth I would dive myself into
