Trash, scum, dirt,

Every card you draw,
Fate just puts on a smug grin,
And adds another
For you to pull,
To see you sweat and tremble
From fear and anxiety

You were the card,
I hoped I'd never pull,
Joker? Or maybe even
The End card, you were

Asking me for my name,
Being a kind neighbor,
Then a best friend,
Even going to the extent
Of being a lover,

You gave me many names,
Names I thought I'd never
Be called by

You would shout my name
Like it would give you the sun,
On a rainy day,
Despite the stares you received

I was happy

I was so happy...

Holding your hand now,
Already so cold,
Won't you smile for me?
Won't you open your
Dazzling eyes,
And take me far from this
Planet of ours?

It happened too fast,
As if fate was telling me,
That this was just how much
