E-vening cold chilling rain
L-ets you bring the blankets out;
Y-ou feel the unpleasant frost in either north or south.
P-ouring rain from the sky
R-emains full of threat;
A-iming at low-lying places,
N-ot causing joy but fret.
I-n torrents the rain still drops,
L-etting the rivers overflow;
L-etting the gale generate
A-nother storm surge show.
M-en in the east and west
A-re not spared by the rain;
R-ugged weather brings
A-nother large size of pain.
V-ile clime I wish should turn
I-nto warm twenty-eighth September day;
L-et the downpour pass,
L-et the rain fade
A-way.
