Let Them In Poem by Barry Middleton

Let Them In

Rating: 5.0

there is a rumbling in our land
and horror in the world
and fear

the war has pillaged every prayer
its legacy is death
and grief

the victims of terror reach for us
and we must help them find
a home

we must not turn away from them
for every child deserves
a smile

Full of empathy. A humanistic approach to world's problems is the only possible solution. It may not solve every issue but it sure will lessen the suffering. A10

Thanks. I just can't stand the idea that some Americans have to not reach out to help suffering people.
