Let There Be Change

Why does the world see Christians odd?
Why are they seen as fools?
Why do her children war with God?
Shattering all His rules

The church herself is filled with awe
Although she’s Jesus bride
So few see Christ as Heaven’s Door
So few find truth inside

They leave it to the few who preach
They’ll sing a hymn and song
But when their souls for Jesus reach
They think there’s something wrong

They need to search the deeper things
They need to dig their well
Begin to sing how Jesus sings
And hear the words He’ll tell

They need to take God’s book in hand
They need to read it through
They need The Truth to understand
To know what each should do

They need to seek Salvations Guide
God’s Holy Ghost with fire
They need to see why Jesus died
They need to climb still higher

There’s more to church than just four walls
Few windows and a door
They need to hear when Jesus calls
They need to serve Him more

Perhaps the world will see the change
She’ll see the bride in white
She’ll see the church no longer strange
And come to seek The Light
