Friends say she's a phony
my family says she's indecent
yet she's the woman i see in my future
i wish the present was promising
then they'd understand she's my life
she's the air i breath
i want her to be my wife
she's more than a fling
as strong is the feeling-of the love
i have for her
i wish they'd heard her tale
then they wouldn't tell-me
to leave her
i want to live by her side
to never leave her side.
