Letters In November Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Letters In November

Letters in November
Excited the ashes and juice
It paved soil
For yearning little seeds
The nectar fought
For this losing love
Drowning in rivers of tears
Did it make you hurt
Like how the months did?
It’s a wonderful shame
As the frames wilted
But go on if you will
Walk away
Into the fight’s tunnels
Chances whisper in my ear
With a glass of wine
And a snug circus couch,
I’m laced with coffee and cheer
With the memory
Of your only kiss upon me
