I was a deer
I
stretched out my legs
and leapt
darted off into a crowd
of elderly ancient trees
all standing around
in a senile daze.
I was a deer
but I became liquid
I
leapt into the river
and let it’s waving embrace
surround me
I swallowed
and let it swell inside me.
I sunk
and drifted downstream
I was a deer,
but I became the sea.
