Lies have no stages

LIES HAVE NO STAGES
Kudos goes to latent
From the karat
On the kerb of series
This gave lax attitudes
Wasn’t a karma
But it was hidden as a landmine

In languid it speaks
With lashes of beauty over it
Those lavish so many audiences
What a laissez-faire and lackluster
Lame story of lies.

Poem of the Day

poet John Gay

Friendship, as love, is but a name,
Save in a concentrated flame;
And thus, in friendships, who depend
On more than one, find not one friend.
