Life Poem by Kakoli Choudhury

Life

Rating: 5.0

Life, Blink thee not,
For thou had a mortal fate,
A legions of mysterious to unfold,
Myriad tacits to be mould.
Thou had to tame the crowd,
And unveil the masked rifes
To set thy trail upon time,
Thou had many oceans to dive
To be the saviour of the ruins.
Thou had to trace the lands,
And umpteen glances to pelt
But two eyes, two feet
And a handful of years,
Since thine fate is mortal,
And life is too frail
To mourn and wail,
Before thou is doomed to death,
Fill the pages of thine immortal leaflet...! ! !
