Life Poem by Ashley Breding

Life

Some people think they can solve,
the unbreakable mysteries...
Some people think they can find,
the forgotten memories...

Invisible things can never be discovered...
And unexplainable things can never be defined...
The feared unknown should never be wondered...
And the useless should never be considered devine...

The most useless of all things thought known...
With the highest of delicacy...
With utmost importance and praise ever shown...
But no worth or purpse yet seen...

If lost there is a tragedy...
If taken, an unforgivable crime...
It can never be stolen or even returned...
Its enemy is the lapse of time...

We protect it with no proof its worth saving...
But its impossible to survive...
If you loose it you loose everything...
Only your soul some beleive stays alive...

Twirling and changing...
A circle of nothing...
A question too feared to be answered...

The most simplest thing without valid purpose...
And most complex opinions to lure the curious...

None of which will ever be true...
Can be found out but never be proved...
The desired outsome is all up to you...

We spend it all just searching and worrying...
Until we finnally realize its done...
So just live it and leave the secret...
The anticipation is half the fun...

Just do what you do and be you...
And think what you think and be true...
Have no regrets or empty desires...
Because once its gone, its gone...

Love, Ashley

Very surreal and oh so true too. 'And Think what you think and be true...' For sure, we must always be true to inner selves. Thanx for sharing Ashley. Barbara
