One moment everything's good,
Life is just as we planned,
Boom! It's all up in the air
Everything good is over
It's life.

He said he was one thing
He proved he was another
He just turned his back on us
And now we have no cover.
It's life.

Just when we think it's over
Then something else pops up
It's just the way things are
It's the cycle we go through
It's life.

You get used to the way things are
You appreciate what you have
Forget what you don't
And take what is thrown at you
It's life.

It never goes away.
