Life - A Mystifier Poem by Nikhat Bano

Life - A Mystifier

Rating: 5.0

Strange is your modus operandi O life!
seemingly, it isn't dubious to me;
But when you crawl out of me in silence,
being a mystifier, you seal a fate on me.

At the first blush everything seems white,
but when I'm alone just with my shadows,
I look near the horizon searching for myself;
Through your dark alleys, having all hopes.

You locate me in a blink of an eye,
even I'm sitting at the farthest location;
As if you know all my whereabouts,
as if ours has an ancient connection.

I'm human and I'm breathing too,
I've faith, He will sail my ship sans mast;
Wherever I'm, my wait won't be in vain,
If He wishes, I'll win back, as the past.
