Life Blossom Poem by Martin Byrne

Life Blossom

You were planted on this earth
A seed needing this dirt
(And this dirt needing your seed) .
The muddy earth was tilled for you
To be born into original sin.
You carried the muck up
But were washed clean by purest rains.
You grew limbs and branches
Sprouting leaves and beautiful blossoms
(Of an unknown kingdom) .
Meshed into this circle of death, you bring life
You are planting on this earth
Your seeds needing dirt
And that dirt needing your seeds
