Tenants in the lease of life,
Of a tenure not known,
Riddled with clauses,
A liaison unknown.
Can I sustain the rent?
The riders that encompass the lease?
Can I really vacate the premise,
If I can't endure the tenor?
Can I get some reprieve,
A sunset clause to put my obligations to rest?
Is there any contingency,
On the tenure of the term?
Will the Landlord serve a notice,
On the completion of lease?
Or will pain and suffering alone,
Be the harbingers of demise?
