Adedolapo Olisa (19th November,1990. / Ilorin, Kwara state.)
Life's reaction; My action
I grasped it, the tide of turbulence
I won it, the battle of belief
I fought it, the fear of fury
I taught it, the tips to taming
I loved it, the fun of family
I felt it, the pinch of poverty
I lived it, the life of liberty
Oh, I saw it, the light of 'liberty'
Believed it, the password to 'poverty'
confessed it, the freedom from 'family'
allowed it, the truth that 'tames'
detested it, the flight into fury
hated it, the beauty of the belief
coated it, the triumph over turbulence
How that, the turbulence of trials TAUGHT
The belief of bare beauty BORN
The fury of the founder FROZEN
The taming of the tiger TAKEN in
The family of the favoured FROWNED at
The poverty of the proud PLANTED
The liberty of the lovers LOATHED
My take and the side I take-
Face it, trials' turbulence
defeat it, the battling belief
avoid it, the father's fury
allow it, One's tiger's taming
fuel it, the family's formation
see it, the proud's poverty
and live it, Lord's liberty.

fine piece...lovely to read
A good depiction of what are the several facets of life who
deal us and treat us as we grow sometimes working for us
but sometimes making us slow. It is a reality that life is a
unit with different outlooks and each of them are witnessed
at different episodes of life.....a very grasping poem...10/10
