Life's Too Many Confusing Questions Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

Life's Too Many Confusing Questions

'Frailty, thy name is woman', Sir. William Shakespeare once wrote.
'Frailty, you're only human', if I may use one of my own quotes.
We all need to stop living our lives with delusion.
All this uncertainty leads us to great confusion.
Why are we always mystified by the meaning of life?
Will mankind and nature co-exist without strife?
Will there ever be peace in our lifetime?
Will there ever be an end to all crime?
If there's a God, why does everyone die?
Why do our politicians’ continue to lie?
What ever happened to the golden rule?
Why do some of us act so mean and cruel?
There's no correct answer to life's many confusing questions.
If we contemplate life, the future will have great expectations.
