Life’s Trial Pending

Who’s ready for true life’s trial?
Let come what coming may
Though storms may come round the dial
And peace eludes our day

You know your heart, your precious soul
The way you sing life’s song
The hope you have, your future goal
Your every right and wrong

Right now life’s Judge is watching you
Hears all you have to say
Sees every thought, each thing you do
Clearly on display
God won’t be mocked, each lie He sees
No secret deep inside
No hurtful word, no deed to please
From God we’ll ever hide

In knowing this, let’s not be fools
Let no one die in sorrow
But love The Lord, obeying His rules
Living for love’s tomorrow

So child of God, to live on high
With wisdom should agree
To live, to thrive, never to die
In hell God’s wrath to flee

We need to live as Christ portrayed
To live without life’s loss
Allow no devilish thought invade
Remembering the cross

Let Jesus death be not in vain
Seek guidance on your knees
Let’s live this life to live again
Life’s living Judge, to please…..
