Life Unseen Poem by Taralee Wozneak

Life Unseen

Through dangers untold
Into the valleys of the shadows of death
Lay the creatures of the night
Dangerous and daunting
As one can see through the vision of the eye
One can be mistaken of what they think they see
In a place one can look around and think they know what their eyes show
However the vision of the naked human eye is often deceived
As often what they see is not always what they know
One man can count the number of souls he sees in a room with the naked eye
However this man cannot see that he has miscounted of what appears to be
There are twice as many he counted
And perhaps twice as many more
This is because he has only counted those who live in containers of life
And not those who have thrown their containers away
The hands of the unseen make the containers that we own
No container is the same as another
The containers are birthed, grown, withered, and eventually turn to nothing
Blown to dust to whisper forever in the wind
And we live then unseen to those who still own containers
And are only seen by nature and those who believe
We are mourned for and are missed but soon is forgotten
As we become the elixirs of life
And become forever part of the great circle of life
