Life - Where Do You Go When The Darkness Takes Hold? Poem by Paul Warren

Life - Where Do You Go When The Darkness Takes Hold?

Where do you go when the darkness takes hold?
And you can't see the light and people are cold
What are the thoughts that invade and won't go away
When all that you want is peace in your stay

Will the peace that seems to be for everyone and all
Be yours again when you want to make the call
You would think that as the years have gone by
Earning your place in the sunshine is not so high.
