Life With Aspergers

Life With Aspergers
is
Like being an alien
condemned to a human zoo

living a lie
just to survive

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was diagnosed with aspergers at the age of 13, it is considered a form of autism, I can think, and perform tasks like an average person (most of the time) but social interation and the rules of etiquite are alien to me. In order for me to do anything I have to constantly pretend to be human, trust me that's a 24 hour job of near insanity
