Lifes Puzzle Poem by ashley roberts

Lifes Puzzle

Rating: 4.0

All love seems to bring lately is broken hearts and broken dreams
My words are like a song but the guitar I’m using as broken strings
Nothing I say sounds right, love don’t seem worth the fight no more
Id play you a love song, id write you a rhyme but still I wonder what for
Pondering in life’s puzzle and contemplating if love is still worth the fight
Wondering why I endure such torture from this love when I know its not right
I ask myself what will become of me if I let this girl I love so much leave tonight
I know I have no right to make her stay and I wont but I do want to hold her tight
Romance is alive in my heart but the pain from loves heart brake as overwhelmed it
I have nothing in my life if I don’t have this candle in my heart, so ill keep it lit
One more piece of the puzzle, with your hand in mine, that’s where it fits
