Light Of Day Poem by Rachelerika Henderson

Light Of Day

I stood up front of human race
I stared in the eyes of deaths face
She released her harness and bowed to me
With her coreless natured empathy
She took my hand, felt my pain
Let her tears free from full restrain
She pulled me close we started to sway
As I woke up to the light of day
