Lights out

my long term feelings
dont last long
1 important thought enters
and another one goes
i can never hold on
to any of those
so im stuck without thinking
repetitve actions
cause my feelings dont last long
i wish they were stronger
i wish i was stronger
strong enough to see through the night
and be able to see, just 2 steps ahead
im stuck
tied to a branch
goin no where
cause these thauhts
dont last to long
i wish i was strong
my heart is so weak
my sight is blind
and i make 1 good choice
and 20 bad
i try to do right
but wheres that heart that i had?
when i was stronger
when i wasnt so weak
when life was always great
at deepest points
points of nothing
i was always so hopeful
yet now im not hopeless
i just need something
i need you
to lead me
through the night
