from 'Wonderful and Wise'
A speck
of a spider
dangling
by the thinnest thread
swallowed in the volume
of an empty room
his ceiling anchor
far above
and almost lost
from sight.

I would like to translate this poem
You feel like you're a tiny spider dangling from a thread? Very vivid image! Good to know, though, that spiders don't usually fall! And if they do they land safely just scurry away.
this is one of several poems i have on being depressed- which in my case usually is related to suppressed anger. as with the psalmists sometimes, i felt God, my ceiling anchor, was distant. -glen
