So you're saying store bagels don't mold?
I am thinking a lie has been told!
Leave them under the sink,
And in no time they'll stink!
Do you think my prediction's too bold?

Yes, but good limerick. That's an extreme situation (leaking pipes?) . On at least 2 occasions my wife bought mini bagels for our son who used to like them. They are in a plastic bag, and have outlasted 3 other loaves which molded in the same type of plastic bag (well over a month) . They are still soft in the bag with no visible mold. I can only assume that they have more preservatives. I don't believe the preservatives will preserve people. Thoughts?

No, I don't have leaking pipes. Well, maybe I do, but my house doesn't! I just had to find a rhyme; I do that every time. All I can say is that bagels (and most other foods) don't stay around my house long enough to get moldy.
