Listen Up

Many of us err and go astray
Many a soul is lost
Living loving to disobey
Failing to count the cost

Bibles lie dusty on the shelf
Plagued hearts are full of hate
Living at odds with God and self
Consuming demonic bait

Offal’s received in countless schools
Life’s Bread is strong denied
Teachers reject Life’s sacred rules
Yet darkness can abide

Politically God’s incorrect
Billions deny His name
Only within His true elect
Will thrive Salvation’s Flame

Fire! Cleansing a precious soul
Consuming shameful sin
Healing spirit making them whole
Helping life’s race to win

By grace alone and not by power
True joy will never cease
To face Life’s Judge in the youngest hour
And reap eternal peace

Such is ordained such is God’s word
Such is His promise dear
The same God’s saints and prophets heard
Who learned His name to fear

But who’s prepared to listen now?
Who will The Warning heed?
Who to The Lamb of God will bow?
Upon His flesh to feed
