Little Angel, spread your wings and fly away home.
For my heart is breaking as the angels call you home
You fight to stay but soon you must depart.

Please keep my letter close to your heart,
as the angels call you to your long journey home.
Keep this letter close for you and I shall never part

Whispering in your ear, “rest little angel and have no fear”
And though I may wander far and wide
I keep you close, here at my side
