Little Donny Ponnie Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Little Donny Ponnie

Little Donny Ponnie was a silly little boy
He always played with boxes and never with his toys
His mother gave him tissue paper
His father a bow tie
When Donny made a Superman
His parents nearly died

Donny made up silly games and left them on the floor
One day his father stepped on one; Donny called, Trapdoor
Donny knew to go to bed like so many times before
Soon Donny made a game of it that angered dad some more

As time went on, now a household name
His inventions were played on boards
Trapdoor became a mouse to trap
Donny's games were all adored

Mom And Dad who worried so
Are happy that they gave
Donny lots of boxes
And things of toys he made
