Little Sarah Sue Poem by TerriJo James

Little Sarah Sue

My pride and joy..
My little angel..
The one who just tore my world upside down;
When I thought I would lose you...
After all the pain I have been through
And the misery
And the heartache!
I wouldn't give you up for anything!
Sarah Sue..
When will you be born?
Will you kick like the dickens to get out of my belly?
Will I carry you for nine months,
Nine days?
My little angel...
The one God is going to create
Just for me:
To care for..
To love..
To cry with..
Anguish over...
When will my little body give life to
My little Sarah Sue?

(Kind of too late for that...haha) 1982?
