Live A While Die A While

Each born to live will one day die
Sinner, saint, girl and boy
Till Christ appears in the sky
Death’s clout to destroy

Live awhile, die awhile, then rise
Before life’s Judge to stand
Before The God alone who’s wise
With all at His command

Till then, sickness and death will reign
In folks old, babies too
Till The Bridegroom comes again
To free His faithful few

Sinners and saints awhile will rest
Till time has reached its height
Until the few passing life’s test
Receive their robes of white

Tombs will empty, graveyards vacate
The few who’ll rise above
For these will open Heaven’s gate
To God’s eternal love

Who’d like to join the few who’ll live?
Who’ll cross life’s last frontier?
Who’ll cherish God, neighbours forgive?
Who’ll shed no more a tear?

Who’ll live the life, never to cease?
Who’ll enter Heaven’s Door?
Who’ll live as kings, in endless peace
Who’ll live and want no more?

Arise! Seek out Salvation’s face
Take hold of Jesus’ hand
Accept God’s love, receive His grace
Enter life’s Promised Land…..
