Live In The Now Poem by Francis Duggan

Forget tomorrow that is in the future tomorrow will come in it's own good time
Of regretting their past and worrying about their future too many they have wasted their life's prime
Live in the now the now is all that matters may you enjoy your gift of life today
For the gift of life is the greatest gift we all have though some may not agree with what I say.

Live in the now that is all you can do though your life's journey to this day has been tough
Tomorrow it will dawn in it's own good time and for you that will be quite soon enough
We only can live in the present moment and make the most of today whilst it does last
The clock on our lives it is ever ticking and age does come upon us all too fast.

The young ambitious bloke planned for the future he daydreamed of greatness of him ahead
But in his car with a truck he was involved in a head on collision and sad to say he now is with the dead
So young he was he had just turned twenty but it is never too young for to die
To live in the now it is so very factual and fact as we do know does never lie.

We only can ever live in the present for yesterday has been and has forever gone
And tomorrow it will come in it's own good time and life in the World it will go on
And if you can do try for to be happy as laughter is the best antidote for stress
And may today for you live on as memorable and with it bring you lots of happiness.
