Live, Love, Laugh, Craft! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Live, Love, Laugh, Craft!

If life causes you at times to smile,
And at other times makes you cry,
Then you are part of the human race.
Thanks for joining us in this place!

We create art with our hands, love with a hug,
Or give pats on some tiny behinds.
Then we can invent sheer laughter,
With hand motions that blow men’s minds!

So live, love, laugh, craft,
With your hands each day anew.
Remember it was a single pair of hands,
That was nailed to a cross, for you!

In Heaven is a crown “incorruptible, ”
And another that’s called “rejoicing.”
A third crown is named “righteousness, ”
Another named “life” is the fourth one voicing.

But the crown most precious to all will be
Number five, the crown of “glory, ” is the choicest.
For when we finally reach the last one called,
We can lay them at His feet and not be voiceless!

Live, love, laugh, craft,
Wile away our time but for a while.
The greatest pleasure anyone shall have is,
With crowns around His feet, we see Him Smile!
