Living To Serve

With Gifts from God there’s much to do
With talents rich bestowed
We’ve Truth and love we’re born anew
To walk our Father’s road

Yet though this world’s in such a state
In filth her children die
Masses in church procrastinate
Raising their hands on high

To glorify our Lord and King
And magnify His name
We open mouths our praise to sing
Without a hint of shame

Come forth and serve by sun and star
Step out and lend a hand
Venture in faith near and far
Let others understand

Allow them hear The Truth within
Allow them see The Light
And that they too life’s crown may win
Equip them for the fight

For rich we are who truly see
Who’ve learned and walk The Way
Who’ve found through Jesus liberty
To serve Him whilst we may

No goodly lamp should ever hide
Nor loving tongue be still
No helping hand should be denied
Doing our Father’s will

Stand up true soldier of the cross
Serve God in every land
Whatever cost whatever loss?
Hold fast Your Saviour’s hand
