Loneliness

Loneliness wont leave me alone
I've been tormented since I was grown
When I can I try to hide
But loneliness is by my side
In my thoughts or in my prayers
Loneliness will still be there
But loneliness I now depend
Cause loneliness is my only friend

Sounds familiar to me. To be in a large group and yet to feel lonely is an everyday thing for me. Peace. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
