Loneliness Poem by Raiyan Asaral

Loneliness

Upon a star a gaze with unfathomable deeps.
Eyes that used to shimmer but lost its gaiety, its radiance.
A mind that sunk into nothingness,
As if it was autumn, thoughts fall like leaves.

Dragged into a corner where sorrow only sleeps.
Alone trying to creep out of misery.
Where help is taboo as it seem.
And living is a fault cursed by grim.

As the clock ticks and invades the silence.
Slowly the consciousness walks back into myself.
Without realizing tears fall one by one,
Calmly, breathing, releasing the searing pain.

Nothing could stop it now.
Escalating into an insurmountable sadness,
Beyond what I have expected, have known.
Killing in the process, death have been sown.

Gaping, searching for air.
Trying to overcome, knowing it'll be a failure.
The fate had been drawn.
The deathbed had been seen in the future.

All is lost into the dark sky.
Even the stars frown at the loneliness.
Giving up, I quietly withdraw back.
Back into searching a new sojourn.
