Loneliness Poem by Shelvakumari Thachayil

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

I love company in the form of anxious thoughts
Then why I hate myself so much
I kill my emotions for escape
For I know that the light
Breath the smoke from my lungs
As though everything between shared cigarettes
In a place filled with darkness
When I trapped in the pain
Loneliness and darkness this world has exposed me
Avoid only a little drop in the sea
About my anxieties
I wanted to tell you for so long
With holding your hand in mine
I opened my mouth to say some words
But all the came out was a scream......
